Final Fantasy XV Confirmed for Tokyo Game Show
Final Fantasy XV, the upcoming action RPG from Square Enix, will be appearing at Tokyo Game Show (TGS) later this month, according to the official website.
Various Square Enix titles are due to be showcased at TGS, which is a videogame convention held in Makuhari Messe, in Japan.
The list (pictured above) suggests that Kingdom Hearts 3, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD, Thief and Final Fantasy XV will all feature at the event.
Final Fantasy XV itself was originally intended to be Final Fantasy Versus XIII, which was originally announced at E3 in 2006.
As Versus XIII, the game was said to follow the story of Noctis Lucis Caelum, a protector of the last remaining city in the world with control over Crystals. Director Noruma stated that the game will play like a realistic version of Kingdom Hearts, with some third-person shooter elements.
The game will be available on the PS4 and the Xbox One.
